Several weeks ago, Nintendo’s U.S servers were subject to an attack but none of it’s consumer information was stolen.
The hacker group Lulzsec (also responsible for the attack on Sony Pictures Entertainment) tweeted on Sunday saying that they attacked Nintendo and stole one file but, “we didn’t mean any harm. Nintendo had already fixed it anyway.”
In an emailed statement, the Nintendo said; “The server contained no consumer information. The protection of our customer information is our utmost priority, we constantly monitor our security.”
