Shingeki no Kyojin or as it’s translated in English: Attack On Titan, is quite literally the most exciting thing I’ve seen since Gintama.
That faithful day I found myself randomly strolling through Tumblr (which is something I never do) and I happen to stumble upon an image of the eyes of an anime girl. The image hadn’t intrigued me more than to be satisfied with the art direction and continue moving along. Then again I see another image of that same girl, only this time it was a gif depicting her face to face with a ‘huge man’ – that was enough to stir me up.
I curiously searched the comments section for a hint at what this might be and after I’d found out, that was it. Once the first episode ended I was hungry for more, arrived at the 5th episode and I thought “masterpiece”. By the time I got to episode 9 I had rashly given it a 9.5 out of 10 but in all honesty, even if it ends at episode 13 my views may not change.
I encourage you to check it out but be warned, Parental Guidance is strongly, strongly advised. This anime is not for the weak at heart.
